Being in a state of constant gratitude, really changes how you view the world. When you can stay focused on yoir connection to the blessings and abundance you have, it leaves little to no room to think about what you WANT and don't have. Everyone looks to difference sources of their blessings. Some believe in ancestral spirits, deities over nature, one God, or themselves and their vibrations. Whatever your source is, we know that the more gratitude we give, the more blessings seem to flow.
I just wanted to give a brief testimony because for some reason my phone wouldn't allow me to post yesterday. Well, I went on a 3mi run at one of my local parks yesterday at about 8:45 am. I was finished at about 9:30, and when I returned to the car, the car key which was on a lanyard around my neck was gone! Now this was a big park. One lap around is about 1.5 miles, and I walked around the 4 times looking for the key. I was scanning left to right, on the pavement and especially in the grass. It was a bit overwhelming because I knew a child or dog could've snatched it up, but as I walked, I listend to my master Gospel praise playlist. As I walked, I sang, and declared over and over that something good would come out the situation. I thanked God that at least I was down the street from my home, I was safe, I was able bodied, and I had my phone. Of course there were a couple of times I thought, dang Tiffany , why!? Omg why did you have to run this morning? HaHa o yes, but then I would cast down that thought and continue praising. As I walked, I saw a park instructor, and told him about the key so he said he would ask around. For some reason yesterday seemed to be a day of reunions, birthdays, games, and football practices. After 1.5 hours of searching, I decided to call auto locksmiths to see get quotes on what it would be to come out. Basically I got, $150-200+. Part of me was petrified because it just wasn't in the cards to be spending that much money on a key! Sheesh. I called my cousin to come get me so I could go home, charge my phone, and solidify a technician. Still praising by the way. I found one, and when I got to the car at 2:30 , my key was placed on the windshield! I started jumping up and down, and looked to the technician and said, " oooooh look at my God! He is sooooo good. Thank you Lord, oo yess thank you!Sorry I'll still give you your $15 for coming out. I'm thankful because is was going to be difficult to pay." He looked, laughed and responded, " I'm happy for you, do you want to get a spared made?" No thank you. I was sooo beyond thankful and grateful, and staying a praising disposition mattered. When we go thru life, whether grand or small circumstances, BEing optimistic may take extra strength, but it's worth it. Singing and speaking positive words releases power which is returned in the form of a blessing. I know sometimes it's easier said then done, but it works. No circumstance is too big or small to give a testimony about, and no blessing in your life is too small to give thanks for! BE Blessed~ Written by: Tiffany Wright |
