Its simple. Some people look at the glass half empty, half full, and completely full with half water and half air. Everyone has different perspectives and they have the right to them, but if you're an unicorn flying through life thinking and hoping for the best, be selective of who you spend your time with and who you allow to influence your thought process.
Years ago, I realized I never doubted myself in taking on a task until someone told me I couldn't. The very idea of that phenomenon astounds me.in hindsight, I realize according to my world perspective, limits may not exist or even be big enough for me to pay attention to, but it was the verbal affirmation (or lack thereof) that would put limits on my own mind.
So now, I use my spirit to discern who I can share dreams with, but also make sure to spread positive words to others because I realize how jaded most folks are.
The other reality is that many can't see beyond what exists. They live with no or little faith and hope. They live with little vision and are attached to notions of "realism." Well you know what, " being realistic is the most common path to mediocrity," said Will Smith. Nothing is wrong with mediocrity for those who decide to live that way, but if you desire elevation and greatness, you must recognize they there are some small minded folks out there.
Our world and way of living is often transformed by those with optimistic passions. Whether that's in social change, invention, technology, research, science or art, optimism does help make the world go round.
It's ok to smile, give affirmations, provide encouragement, and literally remind people to be positive. Your light is your gift to the world. You must honot yosur mind and your spirit thru continuing to feed it positivity and allow it to be released.
