![]() How in love with your body are you? I don't mean "satisfied", I mean how deeply do you admire and love it? One of my favorite commandments that I discuss in my new book, is Honor Thy Body! The body is really a physical manifestation of our BEings. It's a magical vessel that is used to carry out our purpose. It brings forth life and allows us to connect with others. Unfortunately for women, it is not as celebrated as it should be. All that you do to, put in, and believe about your body, matters. Appreciating and honoring every crevice, curve, scar, skin impression, and wrinkle matter. Things will sag and stretch; it's a part of the process of living. Accept what you've been born with; the texture of your hair, the color of your skin, the size of your breast, the shape of your butt, the length of your body. You being dissatisfied with who you naturally are is not only dishonoring yourself, but also your parents. Regardless of how you may feel about them, they gave life to you. See but loving your body isn't just about embracing how it looks. It's about respecting the essence of it as a temple. How do you take care of it? Do you keep up your hygiene? What do you put in it? Do you stay physically active so that it can perform at its best? Do you protect it in all realms o intimacy? Your body is the temple for life. Honor that in every way possible. You are BEautiful. You are powerful! You are amazing! |
