Joy is all around you, do you see it? Even on a beautiful Monday, it's here, but you have to open your eyes to it. There is beauty in you being able to read this right now. Sit, and really think. Think of all the times you cried or wanted to cry. Think of the lessons that hurt you to learn, but you willingly and confidently shared them with someone else. Think about that time where you just asked, why? Why me? Why now? Well, why not ? Are you so special that you should be exempt from living the human experience? Are you so special that you shouldn't actually feel loss or pain so that you can really appreciate abundance and joy? Think about how those times have changed; how beautiful, strong, and determined you are!
Joy. It's not the same as happiness. Happiness is a manifestation of joy, but joy comes from the inside. It's what happens in the midst of positive mental and spiritual alignment. It is the product of a silver lining acceptance of life and the moment you live in. It's a state of the upmost gratitude and content. People are more concerned with appearing ok and happy rather than seeking authentic joy. It's understandable because we are humans and we feed off group behavior and logic. It's comfortable to appear a certain rather than face who you are or truly be yourself because of the fear of judgement. Well guess what? You kill your soul. Why allow yourself to be a caged bird? You have the power to radiate and be whoever and whatever you want, whether authentic or not. But authenticity and transparency is so empowering! It allows to reach a state of joy because you operate at a higher state of BEING with little to no resistance. You feel more comfortable and open up an opportunity for genuine connections. You may not be a super bubbly, in your face kind of joyful type, and that's ok. But allow yourself to feel joy, no matter what day it is, and when you want to feel pain or sorrow, allow yourself to do that as well because no matter what, you can find joy in just living your truth. So today, I challenge you, be still. Think of a time in which you felt a massive amount of joy, connect to that, and think of all the greatness that exists in your life. No reflection of gratitude and thanks is too small. BE Joyful~ Written by: Tiffany W. |
