Definition: Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc. of a person or thing; confidence.
We often speak of trust in
terms of other people around us. We discuss and reflect how others affect the level of trust we have in them. We discuss how the past may affected our abilities to trust in general. But rarely do we have conversations of self trust. You know, trust in yourself.
Do you trust yourself? Do you trust your own judgements? Do you trust the process you use to make decisions in your life? career? love? friendships? with families?
It may sound silly but consider how many women live in stress, anxiety and worry about life. Is not having faith in any process in life the same as not trusting it?
You don't trust that you're good enough for a friend, job, potential lover, or even an outfit you want to wear. You make decisions and then worry if they were the best for you.
Why don't we as women have more confidence in ourselves? and for the ones that do, why is that confidence often limited to one area of life (career vs. love)?
Seek to become one within yourself. When you become one within yourself you can honor your spirit and in all goodness, TRUST Yourself. Listen, as you become more aware of who you are, what is life, and what is right for you, you can actually trust yourself.
You deserve to seek within and be ok with not only the answer you get from yourself but the decision you make as an outcome.
