Happy Saturday BEautiful BEing!
How was your first 3 days of the new year?? Have you still been focused the goals you've set for 2015. Goals help you focus. Writing down your goals keep you aligned. As long as you know that goals and visions should never limit your connection to the present, we're good! The first quarter of this year, I've decided to create some challenges for my mind, body, spirit and purpose. Below is what I'm doing. Right now is day 3 and it feels great. I plan to check in with you periodically about my challenges, but I wanted to show you what I was doing. Now one activity you might not be too privy of is oil pulling. Essentially you choose an oil (like sesame or coconut) and you swish a tablespoon or 2 in your mouth for 20 minutes, 1-3 times a day for a consistent period of at least 2 weeks. Now this ancient process has been said to improve mainly oral health and skin but because you are removing bacteria from your mouth, it can result in other benefits as well. So far its going pretty good; my mouth feels cleaner and left over residue from a cold is releasing itself haha. As far as my other challenges, jump roping, running, recording daily videos, and keeping a gratitude journal, I'm feeling great and balanced. Ahhhh I love that feeling! I feel like just about every area of being is being transformed. I wanted to share these challenges with you to plant seeds in regards to using goals to drive vs. control you or stress you out. Every moment is an opportunity to implement something new in your life, so never feel you have to wait a certain day, just start. DO it now. Its great to make goals SMART, but also if this world was perfect, we'd all be wealthy, we'd all have the perfect mate, and we'd all get whatever we want. The point? Goals don't always get carried out as we plan. Just stay focused, and connect to the windows of time and opportunity to do whats in your spirit. BE Focused~ By: Tiffany W |
