Rejoice in how things are
How often do you rejoice in where you are? Yesterday I posted a video on my
The BE Life vlog (visit and subscribe ♥ ) on How to appreciate your Journey in Life. With any concept that's not really apart of your current state of BEing, it's easier said than done, but if its an age old philosophy of well being, there has to be some truth to it right? This morning was a meditation focused on the thought, I Am Content, Just As I Am.
The idea of contentment doesn't serve to override our desire for improvement, but its a matter of learning to BE Present, Still, and Joyful about your life at all times. There are so many messages of BEing More and Getting More, but these messengers rarely speak about being grateful for where you are. To always focus on the future and what you should be doing, what you should be having, how you should be living, etc. allows us, steals away the joy and happiness you can experience.Obsessing over anything that resembles worry, anxiety, control, or impatience, does not add joy to your life; more than anything, it robs you of life's beautiful moments, and increases your stress while potentially decreasing your health.
"Nature always moves to restore balance."- Deepak Chopra
No matter what happens in your life, a cycle of restoration will occur. What goes up will come down, and often go back up. If you are in a time where you feel stuck, remain grateful and in positive spirits; be open and your opportunity for abundance will present itself.
