You are literally the givers of life. You nurture the world. Your love (or lack thereof), your spirit, and even your bodies, drive men to speak, think and behave the way they do. You spark revolutions around suffrage, equality, and sexual liberation.
If not for you...the human species would cease to exist.
I wish women really knew their power. I wish they knew their power was not in tearing one another down or in their silence. I wish they knew that settling for anyone or situation that degrades and beats down their mind, body, or spirit isn't worth it.
I wish women could accept their bodies and not judge it through the eyes that they take on from society, but the eyes that gaze upon their bodies when alone, in quiet and stillness. I wish they knew they were more than their bodies. More than breast, thighs, hips, waist and butts. I wish they knew that living a healthy lifestyle is enough for their body. I wish they knew their body didnt have to be a dumping ground of anothers pleasure.
I wish women wouldnt be afraid to share their stories with one another. Everything from hygiene and health to fear and trauma. Their stories heal. Their truths connect us. The humor makes all more comfortable.
I wish more women would embark on a journey of self love. Honoring EVERYTHING about themselves. Honoring their mind, body and spirits. Forgiving themselves. Learning to accept everything about themselves so they can walk confidently and compassionately accept the world around them.
I wish more women knew that their sense of security, confidence, intellect, and awareness would bring forth a power that would transform the world.
